Ann Weil is a former special education teacher and Professor of Education at Eastern Michigan University. She earned her master's degree and doctorate at the University of Michigan and now divides her time between Ann Arbor, Key West, and Palm Springs.

Ann's poetry has been published in over 75 journals and anthologies. Her  chapbook, Lifecycle of a Beautiful Woman, was released in 2023 from Yellow Arrow Publishing. A full-length collection, Blue Dog Road Trip, debuted in 2024 from Gnashing Teeth Publishing.
